What is this guide?

   The purpose of this guide is to help you grow in your ability to think critically by teaching you how to engage in better academic research and writing.  This guide will focus upon theological research and writing, and will use examples directly relating to your Seminary studies.

Who is this guide for?

   Students who are not confident in their ability to write research papers in the fields of Biblical study will benefit most from this guide; however, it will be helpful to anyone who needs a refresher or would like to learn new research skills.

How to use this guide

   The best way to use this guide is to start from the beginning, treating it as a brief course of study.  Visit each of the numbered tabs above in order.  The content of the pages will sometimes lead you to external resources.
